Developing Systems Engineering Capabilities within Teams
There are many books and articles on team building. This is one of the better ones. Topics include defining a team's mission, purpose, goals, and operating principles; the stages of team formation (e.g., forming, storming, norming, performing); dysfunctional team member behavior; team communications and problem solving; managing team conflict; self-organized team leadership (i.e., self-directed teams); and leadership effectiveness. The book also includes guidance for organizing team building workshops and participant handouts.
