Satisfying or satisficing?

Hillary S:

Please check the last Hitchins principle: I suspect it may be "progressive satisficing", not "progressive satisfying". "Satisficing" is a made up word to imply we are trying to do our best to at least minimally satisfy all critical stakeholder needs, in contract to "optimising" to a particular narrow set of criteria.

If this is correct, "satisficing" needs to be in the glossary with a good definition fully consistent with Hitchin's usage - please check Hitchins' book to see if he has a suitable form of words.
