Think Systematically - and systemically?

Opening statement - it may be worth introducing the word "systemic" as a complementary concept to systematic, unless we are satified that "systemic" and "holistic" are synonymous.

Increasing importance of integration with brownfield and legacy:

This is a really nice overview, the only thing I would add is that modern systems engineering is almost always constrained (and presented with additional opportunities) by brown-field environments (we can't throw everything away and start with a clean sheet) and legacy constraints - the systems we are designing or modifying need to interact and interoperate with existing systems and services of different ages, and levels of adaptability and dependability.
